Lissa kissed him. She felt so happy. Happier than she'd been in years. She hadn't known Dean very long, but she already liked him more than she ever had liked her last boyfriend. She had dated him simply because that was what had been expected of her. He was royal and popular and what she should be with. The complete opposite of Dean. When they stopped, Katia stood up. She waited for her chance to get out of the car and run. She had to try, even if she wasn't as strong as she could be. | |
