Jake sat on a dock which was on a little pond not far from the prison. He often went there to think it just get away for a bit. His bare feet dangled in the water as he stared at his reflection. He looked at peace even though there was a ear going on inside his head. His boots were sitting next to him, and his torn up flannel shirt hastily folded and resting on top of them. He hadn't wanted it to get wet while he was washing off his bloody hand, even though it could probably use a good washing because of all the blood on it as well. But he didn't want people knowing where he scurried off to, so coming back soaking wet was out of the question. His bare, scarred back was turned towards the path. Since he didn't think anyone was out here he wasn't hiding it. HNnah watched Carl. | |
