The guy began telling the governor an elaborate tale of how he and a few guys had gone to the prison to discuss a trade, their guy for jake, and had basically been laughed at. They had said jake wasn't worth their time or effort, he was a burden that Woodbury could keep. Jake should have ran. He knee that as soon as he saw the door cracked open. But he couldn't. He was frozen to his spot. No. That couldn't be real. He thought the people at the prison liked him. But there was always that fear that he was just misunderstanding their kindness. Maybe it was true. His greatest fear was coming true. They didn't like him. Trevor continued until the guy passed out. | |

The guy nodded in a agreement. "Alright. We'll figure out a way to get ___ back and keep the kid. He seems like he will be a great addition to the town." Jake curled up in his chair. How could they not want him? What about Beth, Daryl, Trevor, anyone? He thought they would stick up for him. He was crushed. Beth was his wife, trevor his brother, and daryl. Daryl was practically his father figure. It didn't cross his mind that they were making it up. Trevor walked out and locked the door behind him. | |

Jake hadn't moved from the chair. He was heartbroken, and didn't see the point to try to escape or anything. There was nothing to escape to. He might as well stay here. It was as good a place as any. At least they sounded like they wanted him. He was a fool to believe Rick's group wanted him. His own parents hadn't wanted him, so why would they? Trevor looked over at her, wiping off his hands. The blood was gone, but there were still painful looking wounds on his knuckles. | |

Jake looked over, sitting up more. He had to hide whatever he was feeling. "hey." he answered, trying to keep his voice emotionless, but there was clearly pain in just that one word. "Had a little discussion with one of the people who attacked us. Tried to figure out where jake is, but he wasn't being to helpful." Trevor told her, trying to put bandages on his right hand, but was having trouble. He wasn't ambidextrous at all. | |

Trevor shook his hand, like that would make the pain go away. He winced slightly, then pulled out his quickly emptying bottle and popped a pill into his mouth. | |
