Clay on the other hand, still didn't like Sam all that much. He was a threat to his dominance. Nick, Joey, Logan. They all were, or had been, weaker than him, so they weren't a problem. He didn't want to be here. He wanted to be with Elena. She needed him. But Jeremy gave him an order and he had to do it. Even if that meant leaving Elena when she needed him the most and being with Sam. He couldn't figure out why Jeremy let him stay. He was a hunter. And so was his brother. They were a danger to the pack. Sam didn't try to join in anything. He was an outsider. He even stayed down in the cage still, like he was ashamed to be with them or something. clay didn't think that Sam would want to be human. That never crossed his mind. Why would anyone want to be a human? They were weak and breakable. He didn't remember being one at all. He never had a "normal" childhood like the hereditary werewolves; before they were strong and had the ability to change. He had never been normal, after all he had been bitten when he was 4-5 years old, and didn't know what it was like. | |

He should have been able to see it coming. He'd been having nightmares lately, but just assumed they were nothing. He wondered about how Dean was doing. Dean hadn't spoken to him since he got turned. Sam assumed that was because he was a monster now, but Dean had just found a girl and had been staying with her. | |
