Murphy watched her. "Of course. Now how can I help-" Jeremy asked, getting cut off as Nick and Elena, both in wolf form still, bounded out of the bushes like two extremely large puppies. Elena had a severed deer leg in her jaws that Nick was trying to steal. Clay followed, also in wolf form, watching the two carefully. Even though he was close to nick, that meant nothing now. As wolves everything was different. Nick was near his mate. But that's when he smelled humans. Clay turned towards them, his head low and his lips curled back into a snarl. He slowly approached, growling the whole way. Logan and Antonio were the last to appear. They too were in wolf form. None of the others were as threatening as clay, but none seemed to thrilled with having humans nearby. Elena dropped the deer leg and followed clay, staying behind him. | |
