On Friday I picked up three six week old rabbits. They are supposed to all be girls, and they are supposed to be pure bred Rexs. They came from a home where they ran free with their siblings, parents, and a chicken in a barn stall. They had no food, no water, and no hay. When they were picked up, it was by their ears. These babies haven't had any attention given to them for I don't know how long. They were abused and neglected, and were being raised for slaughter. Two of the bunnies, Jade and Jasper, are settling in great! They let me pet them and hold them, and they run right over when they see me. The third bunny, Amethyst, isn't doing that good. She is constantly terrified, and when we put out hands in the cage she runs over and jumps at us, kicking, scratching, and biting. She can be in her hutch and we'll put our hands in the run area to change her food or give her greens and she will leave her hutch to attack. All three bunnies came from the same home. Is there anything I can do for Amethyst to make her feel more comfortable?

Also, like I said, they were running with their siblings. I know there was at least one boy. If they got pregnant, what is the gestation period for rabbits, and when and how can I start to tell?
