Hello, my name is Tabitha Musich. Everybody on this website will know me better as Mrs. Dixon. I run my animal rescue, Save A Soul Animal Rescue, with my best friend, Ariana Brooks. For years, we have dreamed of helping animals, and so we started a small livestock rescue, Save A Soul. Save A Soul Animal Rescue is a small no-kill rescue that will take in every breed and species of livestock, from the smallest quail to the largest horse! We live on 5 and 40 acres. When I, Tabitha, was younger, I used to live in town. I owned a small flock of chickens. One day, one of my baby hens turned out to be a rooster. He was the sweetest boy, I remember he used to run over and hide in our laps and in our hair whenever something as small as a finch would go by. We lived in town, however, so we were forced to give him up. It was so hard finding a place that wouldn't eat him, and I remember wishing that there was somewhere that we could give him. A few years later, I moved out to my 5 acre lot and started Save A Soul with my best friend, Ariana. We hope to help families like mine, and give them a safe place where they can send their beloved animals. A place where they don't have to worry about the animal getting eaten or neglected. A place where the animals would feel at home. Unfortuently, running Save A Soul is also very expensive. This is why we are looking for this money. We need about three thousand dollars to obtain nonprofit status, and around five to seven thousand to buy a pole barn. Any extra money we have left over will go to buying fences, and offset the cost of food and veterinary care for the animals. A donation of even 5 dollars would help tremendously!
