It was the only cabin within miles of anywhere in a secluded part of a vast forest. The first day was pretty quiet, except that night. Right after dark, one wolf began howling a sad, mournful howl, the what sounded like the rest of the pack joined in. They were a pretty good distance away, but it made the brothers uneasy. Rocco had often told them of the more aggressive than average wolves that lived in those woods. | |

They hurried outside and were surprised to see a blonde teenage girl and a 40-50 year old man fighting savagely in the cleared area around the front door of the cabin. The man threw the girl across the yard then ran over and pinned her to the ground. He began hitting her face over and over. | |
