Catherine walked into the room. She said hello to pascal and led Mary out of the room to talk "Mary, there's something you should know." Catherine stated as they went into her room. "Henry asked for an annulment. It can only mean he wishes to end our marriage and turn to someone else." Mary gave her a slightly puzzled look, not knowing what this had to do with her. "You." Catherine said Mary shook her head. "No." Catherine crossed her arms. "I saw what he did to you." "That came out of nowhere. He's never shown the slightest bit of interest.." Mary said, trailing off. "When he had his hands on you, he had his hands on England." Catherine told her. "So." Mary said, "he's decided to wed me, then keep all three crowns for himself." "And his acceptance of the fact that you and Brandon don't want a child yet." Catherine said. There wasn't much she didn't know about. Even things that people thought were private. "He wants to give you an heir himself." "Does he honestly think that Brandon and I would agree to have our marriage annulled? It's ridiculous!" Mary said, angrily. Her eyes suddenly widened in realization. Catherine's eyes also widened, coming up with the same thought as Mary. "No. Even he wouldn't." "He's going to kill his own son!" Mary cried out in horror. "If you're right," Catherine said, "our only chance is to overtake him and his guards and get rid of him before he kills Brandon." | |
