They watch him curriously, wondering why they had been called.

I started and finished my book yesterday and saw the movie yesterday XD If you want to play any of them, now would be a good time to know.

Connor looked around at all of them

I would, but I haven't read the book since 7th grade, and I think I only read about half of it. I liked it, but I didn't want to do what my teacher told me to do, so...

Name: Ponyboy

Age: 14

Gender: Male

Personality: He's fairly quiet, knowing that that's how the group would accept him. Being the youngest, he's often teased and picked on, although he is starting to grow up to be respected.

History: Ponyboy's mom and dad died when a train hit their car a few years back. After that, Darry and Soda helped raised him, both dropping out of school to keep him in. Darry and Ponyboy haven't gotten along sinse then, although it's only because Darry cares, maybe a little too much.

Looks: Ponyboy has light brown, almost red hair and greenish-grey eyes. He wears his hair longer then most boys, squared off in back and long in front and to the sides. He uses a lot of grease in his hair, the trademark of his gang, the Greasers.

======

Name: Sodapop

Age: 16, going on 17

Gender: Male

Personality: Soda always tries to understand everyone's problems, and most of the time does. He's always happy-go-lucky and grinning. He can get drunk in a drag race or dancing without ever getting near alcohol. Soda never touches a drop, and doesn't need to. He gets drunk on just plain living.

History: Same as Ponyboy's. He gets along great with Ponyboy.

Looks: Soda is the movie star kind of handsom, the kind that people stop on the streets to watch go by. He isn't as tall as his older brother, Darry, and a little slimmer. He has a finely drawn, sensitive face that somehow manages to be reckless and thoughtful at the same time. He's got dark gold hair that he combs back long silky and straight. In the summer, the sun bleaches it to a shining wheat gold. His eyes are dark brown, lively, dancing, recklessly laughing. They can be gentle and sympathetic one moment and blazing with anger the nst.

======

Name: Darrel (called Darry)

Age: 20

Gender: Male

Personality: Darry tends to be really rough with people without meaning to be. He uses his head, although he doesn't understand anything that isn't plain hard fact. He cares a lot about his little brothers, but that normaly results in them getting in trouble a lot.

History: Same as his brother's.

Looks: Darry is six foot two, broad-shouldered and muscular. He has dark brown hair that kicks out in front and a slight cowlick in the back. His hair is shorter than the rest of the gang's. Darry's got eyes like two peices of pale blue-green ice. They've got a determined set to them, like the rest of him. He looks older than twenty- tough, cool, and smart. He would be really handosm is his eyes wern't so cold.

======

Name: Steve Randle

Age: 17

Gender: Male

Personality: Steve is cocky and smart, and is Soda's best friend. Steve doesn't like Ponyboy much, thinking he was a tagalong and a kid. It bugged Steve how Soda always seemed to show up with Ponyboy.

History: Steve and Soda had been friends since grade school. His specalty being cars, he and Soda work at the same gas station. Their gas station got more customers than any other in town. Whether that was because Steve was so good with cars or because Soda attracted girls like honey draws flies, nobody knows. Steve could lift a hubcap quicker and more quietly than anyone in the neighborhood, and he knew cars upside down and backwards. He could drive anything on wheels.

Looks: Steve was tall and lean with thick greasy hair he kept combed in complicated swirls. His hair and eyes were brown.

======

Name: Two-Bit

Age: 18 1/2

Gender: Male

Personality: Two-Bit is the wisecracker of the gang. He can't stop making funny, sarcastic, or sassy remarks to save his life. There was no shutting him up, and he akways had to get his two-bits worth in. Life was one big joke to Two-Bit. He was famous for shoplifting and his black-handled switchblade he stole. He was almost constantly smarting off to the cops. He liked fights, blondes, and school.

History: He is a great shoplifter, and once spent two hours aimlessly walking around a store to acquire his knife. He doesn't talk much about his past outside the group.

Looks: Two-Bits was about six feet tall, stocky in build, and very proud of his long rusty-colored sideburns. He had grey eyes and a wide grin.

======

Name: Dallas (Dally) Winston

Age: 18

Gender: Male

Personality: Dally was easily tougher than the rest of the gang, colder and meaner too. He is quite bitter, and seems heartless at times. When mad, he will not hesitate to beat any of the group (except Johnny) to a pulp. He was also very smart, and was rather respected in the group.

History: Dally had spent three years on the wild side of New York, and had been arrested at the age of ten. Dally had blew off steam in gang fights in New York, but here, organized gangs are rare, so the warfare is between the social classes. He can fight well, but has no specific thing to hate. Dally has quite a repuation. They have a file on him at the police station. He has been arrested, he got drunk, he rode in rodeos, lied, cheated, stole, rolled drunks, jumped small kids, he did everything.

Looks: Dally has an elfish face, with high cheekbones and a pointed chin, small, sharp animal teeth, and ears like a linx. His hair was almost white it is so blonde, and he doesn't like haircuts, or hair oil either, so it fell over his forehead in wisps and kicked out in the back in tufts and curled behind his ears and along the nape of his neck. His eyes were blue, blaxing ice, cold with a hatred of the whole world.

======

Name: Johnny Cade

Age: 16

Gender: Male

Personality: If you can picture a little dark puppy that has been kicked too many times and is lost in a crowd of strangers, you'll have Johnny. He was the gang's pet, everyone's little brother. He is a nervous wreck, almost jumping at his own shadow.

History: At one time, the Socs beat him until he was an inch from death. His father was always beating him up, and his mother ignored him, except when she was ticked off at something, then you could hear her yelling at him from a few houses away. Johnny hated the yelling worse then getting beat. He also likes the beating a bit better then getting ignored. At least then he knew his father remembered him. He would have run away a million times if the gang hadn't been there. In fact, if it hadn't been for the gang, Johnny would never have known was love and affection is.

Looks: Johnny was smaller then the rest of the gang, with a slight build. He had big black eyes and a dark tanned face. Johnny had a nervous, suspicious look in his eyes at all times. His hair was jet-black and heavily greased and combed to the side, but it was so long that it fell in shaggy bangs across his forehead.

Ponyboy shook his head.

Darry looks at Connor, then at the others, asking for an explanation.

Ponyboy smiles. "He's gonna join us."

Darry raised an eyebrow. "How do we know he's safe?"
