"Why?" Steve asked. "She's still here." -- Jake pulled out the note and read it. Dear Jake or Hannah, If you're reading this, that means at least one of you are still alive, and I'm not. Your fathers been bit, but I can't kill him. I've locked him in the cellar for now. I don't know what I'm going to do... I wish someone could just kill him for me. The first thing I've got to say, is I'm sorry about everything that happened to you both. You didn't deserve that. No one does, let alone two kids. I'm sorry I'll never be able to make it up to you. Second, your brother, Trevor, is still alive. He came by after everything happened with a large group. He was pretty high up in the ranks apparently. I wouldn't go with him, though. I couldn't leave your father behind. They were heading to Atlanta. Depending on how long after I write this that you find it, you may be able to track him down.
