Peter smiled when steve said "he didnt think so." He then looked back at Liam and narrowed his eyes. "because no one should be treated like shit, especially by their partner. Aren't partners suppose to help and support each other, not push and yell at them?"

Liam was taken aback, “Last time I knew you weren’t our boss. And if Steve, your new best friend here, was so upset about it, why did he report me or some other stupid thing?” He argued back, raising a good point.

Steve thought for a second. He really didn’t know why he hadn’t reported Liam or requested for a new partner. He really didn’t want to seem like a whiney little twerp though.

Peter shrugged. "I'm not your boss, who apperently needs to pay more attention to what their employees are doing." he couldn't come up with a retort for why steve hadn't reported Liam. "well... I don't know why. Other than maybe he didn't want you to get in trouble."

“Why would have he cared?” Liam retorted. That wouldn’t have made any sense. Why would have Steve cared at all?

Steve raised an eyebrow at Liam, “Um… and is still standing right here you know. I haven’t gone anywhere alright!” He said a little disgruntled. What Peter was also true too. Other than not wanting to ruin a reputation, he really didn’t think it was worth it to get Liam in trouble.

Nahh it's fine I totally understand.Sorry Addicted To Horror this post for Sam is like really bad.

--

Steve felt bad because he snapped. He shook his head, “No it’s fine. Really it is. I don’t have a problem with you.” He said, shifting his eyes over at Liam. “Look, all I’m just saying is yeah I haven’t complained to them because 1.) everyone knew us in a relationship wouldn’t have worked in the first place so that leads to 2.) I don’t want them thinking that I’m so whiney little boy who got his heart broken. And 3.) It’s not worth it alright.”

Liam was taken aback. He wasn't actually expecting Steve to let everything off his chest about this situation. Most of the time, Steve just ignores it and never says anything or complains. "Okay thanks for that..." He said, a little sarcasticly.

Sam raised an eyebrow when she hung up the phone, “So… what’s he going to do?”

Peter was staying out of the conversation now. It looked like Steve could handle it from here. He was glad that steve was talking to Liam about what he thought. Maybe it would help. That is, until Liam spoke. Peter crossed his arms.

Steve’s jaw almost dropped. Really? He was still going to act like an asshole, “Okay, fine. Whatever. You know later when you start complaining about me not saying shit; don’t ever say that I didn’t. I tried” He turned to Peter, “Let’s go.”

"fine by me." peter answered, glaring at Liam. How could someone be that big of an ass? It's not possible. And what would make Steve be with him in the first place? Peter turned and walked back outside, happy to be out of there.

Steve rubbed the back of his neck with his hand, “Hey I’m really sorry about that, you having to listen to all of our drama. I really appreciated the help though because if you wouldn’t have been there it would have probably been a lot worse.” He said, shifting his eyes to the door of the police station.

Sam followed Laurie’s glances towards Michael, noticing that he was beginning to have movement again. “And… What might that be? Does he have more of that stuff you injected him with earlier?”

Peter shrugged. "don't worry about it. It was great seeing the look on his face when I told him what my 'life' was like. Brilliant. Plus, I owed you for giving me a ride home." he said as he walked over to the police car. "I just hope he treats you better. If not you can call your 'guard dog' back." he joked.

Steve nodded, “Yeah the look on his face was pretty priceless.” He said, following Peter back to his cruiser, “Yeah I hope he does too…” he said, getting a distant look on his face. He shook his head though, trying not to think about it too much. “Don’t worry I will call you back sometime.” He started joking around again.

Peter grinned, his mood back to normal. "feel free if you need to. I'll be happy to help." he replied before getting into the passenger side of the cruiser. He put on the seat belt, but only because he was in a cop car. Normally he probably wouldn't wear one.

Steve smiled as he got into the car and started up the cruiser, “You’ll probably have to give me directions.” He said as he started to back the car out of the parking space. He turned the wheel and put his car into drive as he sped out of the parking lot.

Sam’s eyebrows shot up, intrigued. “Holy shit that’s clever.” He would have to remember to tell Dean that trick... whenever he actually got back.

Peter nodded once. "alright." as steve began to drive, peter told him the first way to turn. He watched out the window somewhat, wondering if jerry (the man that killed his parents) was still in the city. Peter knew he was still alive. It's not like anyone one could kill him.

Steve turned the car and looked over at Peter, noticing that there was obviously something on his mind, but he didn’t want to pry. He had a feeling it might be about Peter’s parent’s murder. But the silence got to him, “What’s up?” he asked, concerned.

Peter snapped back into reality and looked over at Steve. "huh? Oh, nothing. I was just thinking." he wasn't really paying attention to anything, and felt bad for ignoring Steve. He was giving him a rude after all. Peter should try harder to be nice.
