Steve took a deep breath in and opened the door to the police station. People were bustling about with case work and evidence. When he walked in, he straightens his posture a little and scanned the room for Liam. He was standing in the back corner with his arms crossed, not impressed. Steve turned around to Peter and pointed in Liam’s direction, “That’s him… the one who looks like he’s got a stick up his ass.” | |

It was interesting watching all the people working so hard. Peter smirked at what Steve said. Liam did look like he had a stick up his ass. "That's him?" he asked, somewhat surprised. Steve crossed his arms and sighed, “Yeah… That’s Liam. He wasn’t always uptight. Well, at least this much I guess… Anyways though,” Steve said, dropping the subject “I should probably go over there before he does something stupid.” Steve sauntered over and reached Liam who was glaring at him first, and then to Peter. “Look what the cat dragged in…” Liam scoffed, not impressed.

Steve clenched his jaw, his hands in fists. “Peter has nothing to do with this. Can you act like an actual police officer for 2 seconds? I didn’t come in here so you could bash me and yell at me again. I came in here to tell you I didn’t find anything at Huxley okay?” Liam nodded, “Okay, I don’t know if I should believe you though, ya know, because I can’t tell if you’re actually telling the truth. Did you really look?” Sam turned his head slightly to one side, almost like what a dog would do. “What does he do?” Sam questioned, kind of curious about it. It was out of habit though to question people who had relations to what they were hunting. He was actually interested instead of it just being another case.

Steve pursed his lips and looked away from Liam. Calm down, he thought, over and over again. “Look,” He said in quieter tones, slowly moving his eyes back up to Liam, “I told you already. I wasn’t going to look around because it was pointless. If you think it’s so damn important, go yourself.” Liam rolled his eyes, “And I told you that I’m backed up in paper work right now with case files that I need to finish off. I’m so sorry if you feel that this case is a dead end, but I don’t!” Liam pushed Steve back by the shoulders a few feet. People were beginning to notice the 2 of them fighting.

“Oh” Sam said, not expecting that. He thought maybe they worked in the same office or something. But I guess Michael started off as a normal person like everything else. Sam watched as Laurie dialed her phone, wondering what this Doctor Loomis knew. Liam scowled at Peter, “This is between me and Officer Jinks here, not some scum that my partner picked off the side of the road.” Liam’s voice was starting to move at a faster pace, his posture had gone rigid. Steve ignored the push, but didn’t ignore what Liam had said to Peter, “Hey knock it off, alright! Would you just calm down!” Steve falsely laughed, “And yeah Peter is totally just ‘scum I picked off the side of the road’ That is totally something you should say to someone you have just met.” He spat back sarcastically. | |

Liam scoffed, “And what makes you think that you’re better than I am? You don’t seem to work in a very nice place… probably some minimum wage work.” He said with a smug look on his face. Steve had given up at controlling Liam at this point. If he wanted to fight in front of everyone and get them both fired, who cares really? It would be better to get them both fired if that meant he wouldn't have to be around Liam constantly.

Yeah I’ve heard of it and it’s a piss pour excuse for a TV show.” He said, even though it wasn’t something he was expecting. He was expecting this guy to be a factory worker or something. Stocked with alcohol and expensive furniture. What about you? I bet YOU live in a little apartment somewhere all by yourself." all of the stuff about his life was a lie other than the pent house part. While it was stocked with alcohol, the only expensive things he had was what he bought on eBay while drunk. He had a bunch of weird, antique things. Guns, ancient texts, creepy stuff like that. It helped with the whole "master of darkness" thing and were just interesting to him. | |

Liam’s eyes shifted around. Because, yeah it was true he did actually live in an apartment alone at the moment… “A-alright… I’m sorry, okay. I shouldn’t have made a judgment so quickly alright” He stammered, his words getting flustered and his tough guy attitude slowly going down the drain. He glared at Steve, “Get your attack dog off me will you?” Steve just laughed and shook his head. He knew that half the stuff Peter had said wasn’t really true but Liam had bought it. And being alone was something that actually bothered Liam a lot for some reason. When Liam asked him to make Peter back off he blinked and turned to Peter, "Did you hear something?" he said, acting oblivious. | |
