Steve lost sight of Peter’s car as he got stopped at a light and Peter drove on. But he was beginning to recognize the area so he had no problem getting himself to their place. He pulled into a spot next to Peter’s car and popped the trunk to his Prius. He got out and grabbed his stuff, “So… show me the way I guess.” He said, excited.

Does an Orchestra count?

Peter saw Steve and smiled. "yeah. Let me grab your stuff and we will go." he picked up the boxes and headed inside, giving a nod of thanks to the door man. He left his costume in his car. He'd get it later, probably when he went to get more midori.

lol yeah I've always wanted to be in an orchestra but my school's shit soooo we're just a band. What do you play? I play French horn.

Steve closed his trunk with his foot and followed Peter inside. He did a balancing act with the boxes he was holding. As he passed the door man, he nodded awkwardly hoping that he didn’t hate Steve or something. He was glad that he’d be putting them down soon. A thought passed his mind though: What was he going to do with all of his other stuff that he left?

I play violin.

Peter quickened his pace as he heard his name called. He didn't have to look over to tell who it was. The director. He walked next to peter, who was blatantly ignoring him, and ask/yelled, "where the hell did you go?" peter simply shrugged an arm and continued to Steve's place. "I helped a friend move. We were done rehearsing, right?"

That's awesome! I'm jealous. I've always wanted to play violin but it looks really hard....

--

Steve smiled to himself as he heard Peter bicker with the director, who was not impressed. He felt kind of bad that he was a reason why the director was pissed, but Peter probably didn’t care. He continued to follow Peter, slightly behind him and his red-faced director.

Yeah I play guitar and that's the only stringed insturment I can play but everyone can play guitar it seems at my school.

--

Steve caught up with Peter, thanking him for holding the door open for him with a nod and laughed, “Jesus Christ… You have to deal with that all the time?” He said, feeling sorry for his friend. He knew that Peter probably shouldn’t have walked straight out of practice, but if he had to work for that guy he probably would have.

Oh! I'm learning to play the guitar. it's pretty hard.

Peter sat the boxes down and ran a hand through his hair after pushing the button for Steve's floor. "well... Yes and no. I don't usually leave to help someone move, but I usually end up angering him somehow. Most rehearsals end with someone pissed at me, mostly ginger and Tom, thats the director."

Steve adjusted the boxes in his arm as he noticed which floor number Peter pressed before speaking, “Well yeah obviously but man that’s gotta suck. At least it’s just Liam that’s yelling at me back at the station.”

Same problem.

Peter shrugged uncaringly, which wasn't really a lie. The fighting didn't matter. "it doesn't really bother me anymore. I'm pretty used to it; and in reality, there is a hell of a lot worse stuff than arguing." peter picked the boxes up and walked out of the elevator when it opened for steves floor, wanting to end the conversation.

Steve followed Peter out of the elevator, shrugging because what Peter said was true. But he knew that Peter probably wanted to end the conversation there. He got anxious as he looked around the floor his place was on. This was it… He was finally getting out of that shit hole apartment. He was excited to be living next to Peter too, “Thanks again for all of this. This means a lot to me.”

Mines black. And I have an acoustic that my dad broke the strings and refuses to fix

Peter shrugged nochalantly at his comment. "it's no problem. They owe me for all the shit I do for them. Plus it's nice to have a friend living here." peter walked to Steve's room and waited next to the door. He didn't have the key. Peter shifted the boxes in his arms while he waited for steve.

Steve followed Peter to the door and smiled, “Yeah same here though. I’m glad to have someone to talk to outside of work again.” He said, getting a longing again for Claudia. He hoped that she was going to come back home soon because he missed her so much.  (Does steve have the key? lol)

(haha thanks I couldn’t remember I have an awful memory) “Oh yeah, right.” Steve said, remembering that he had the key. He adjusted the boxes in his hands and dug the key out of his pocket. He pulled it out triumphantly, “Here we go…” he said under his breath as he stuck the key in the lock and unlocked the door to his house. The door swung open and he walked in slowly and turned on the lightswitch, light flooding the room. It was nice and big, but empty. A smile spread acrossed his face.

Peter grinned as he waited for steve to look around the place a bit. Then he walked inside. "what do you think?" he looked around the suite/apartment. It was nice, but not nearly as nice as his. He sat the boxes on the floor.

Steve was grinning ear to ear, “I love it.” He said as he placed his boxes next to Peter’s. He looked back to the kitchen and then wandered around a little more, checking out the bedrooms and hallways. He came back into the main room, almost jumping with joy. This was such a nice place.

Steve stepped in and gave Peter, a short hug of thanks, “I love it a lot. We’ll have to fill this place up though…” He said, looking at all the empty place and then to the few boxes he brought. They were really the only things that meant anything to him though. He picked up the boxes he was carrying again.

Peter's posture stiffened when steve hugged him. He awkwardly patted Steve's back and lamely said, "Yeah." he didn't really like when people touched him. He was to paranoid from his past.
