Steve grinned, “I’ll have to take you up on that offer then.” He said, thankful. This change would be good for him. He wouldn’t be right across the street from the station any more. “It’s going to be nice not worrying if the house will catch on fire because of the broken ass stove.” He said in mock disappointment. Sam glanced around also, “Oh yeah…” he remarked, remembering his fight with Michael. He had almost forgotten about that, “Do you know if they’re alright?” he said, his hunter instincts going on alert. His body became stiffer and he noticed everything that moved, trying to look for the kids.

Site Owner Posts: 236226 | Peter grinned, happy that he had agreed. "I'll talk to them tomorrow then. It'll be great having someone normal living here. It seems most people are either crazy or treat me differently because I'm an actor. You're just a regular person."

Steve nodded, “Alright that sounds good. I’d have to agree though because everyone here’s gonna be all rich and stuff. That must suck though.” He said, glad Peter thought he was a normal person. Most people thought he was a freak because of the whole lie detector thing. Sam relaxed a bit, glad that she knew that they were fine, “Where are they?” he asked, not entirely relaxed though. There was always something that seemed to go wrong in situations. He might have been just overreacting though. -- Yeah it's briliant XD

Sam fully relaxed after seeing that Laurie didn’t seem to be worried. He nodded and trailed after her.

Site Owner Posts: 236226 | Peter shrugged. "not everyone is rich. Most of them, yeah, but not all. The rich ones are usually more normal than the poorer ones, though."

Steve would have guessed the opposite of what Peter had just said, “Oh well, I guess I’m just scared they were gonna look down on me or lie through their teeth about how they felt towards me. I knew you wouldn’t of course but the others I wasn’t sure about.”

Laurie walks out into the light and smiles, catching the kids as they run over to her, litterally jumping in her arms.

Sam blocked the sunlight from streaming down into his eyes and let his eyes adjust. He looked over at Laurie and saw the kids attacking her and he smiled as he wandered over towards them. He looked at the kids faces, hoping he wasn’t scaring them… which was kind of hard when you were 6’4.

Site Owner Posts: 236226 | Peter chuckled. "oh, they'll lie to your face. They'll say a bunch of pretty things to make you feel welcome, but they won't mean it. You can't let it get to you, though. Eventually they will learn to like you and ultimately respect you cause you're keeping their sorry asses safe."

Steve laughed, “Yeah I was guessing that that would happen. It won’t get to me because I’m used to it but it doesn’t mean I’ll ignore it. It will be like the first day of school all over again you know?” Sam knelt down to shrink the height difference and look over at the boy, “I’m Sam Winchester.” He smiled, “And you are…?”

Sam grinned at Danny, “Cool.” He said, remembering the kid he saved named Danny from a ghost that was in the walls… Or at least they thought it was a ghost. “I’m really old compared to you.”

Sam raised his eyebrows, “Yeah I do… It was awful actually…” he said, exaggerating a little bit.
