lol yeah I knew what happened in each of the seasons because of the internet haha -- Steve nodded, “I’m being completely serious. I’ve looked around for better places, but they’re either too expensive, worse than mine is, or too far away from work.” He said, leaning back into his chair and got himself comfortable. Sam sensed that Laurie was watching him like his brother would and knew something was up, so he tried to loosen up a bit. He put on his best fake smile and put his hands in his pockets, “Alright. When will that be?” he said, in false interest. Even though he tried to forget about what was nagging at him, it was still there, lurking in the background. | |

Steve knew Peter was holding back but he brushed it off, “Yeah I guess if you call a shithole a place to live… I might be able to find one eventually though. I might just move out of town completely to be honest…” he said, thinking about the Molly Duncan case and Liam. Sam nodded, “What do you want me to do? I could show you some ropes while the kids are asleep or something?” He said, kind of hopeful of a place to stay other than a crappy motel. He hated practically begging to Laurie though. If it was a different situation he wouldn’t. | |

Steve froze, “Wait what?” He was not expecting that. “I-I can’t… you know… It’s nice and all but…” he stammered, not being able to think. He didn’t mean to start blabbing about his apartment. Gosh he probably sounds like a whiney little bitch. “I didn’t mean to…” he continued, still not being able to form proper sentences “Thank you” Sam said, not trying to sound too desperate. “I won’t be a problem if you don’t want me to. I can go distract myself so I don’t get in the way of you taking care of the kids.” He said, to make up for it. Dean honestly was better with kids than he was, saying he basically had a son for a year. | |

It’s just I feel bad because now I’ve come off as some whiney bitch again… Thanks though.” He said, smiling a little. Sam looked shocked, surprised that Laurie would offer, “Oh okay. I’m not good at anything involving… kids. Give me something to fix, easy but kids… Not so much. It’ll be interesting.” He said, grinning from ear to ear.
