Peter shrugged. "no, not really. Unless you count drinking. I'm good at drinking and memorizing lines. That's about it. nothing useful or impressive."

“Well there you go” Steve pointed out, “It’s better than nothing. And you can obviously act or you wouldn’t have been hired to be on that show of yours. I could never do it. In highschool, Claudia convinced me to try out for a play one year because it would fit the “gay guy” stereotype and I was awful.”

"but acting isn't that impressive. Lots of people do it. Just watch tv. It's nothing special like you or your friend." peter said. He then took another drink, then continued talking, "but it doesn't matter I guess. Some people just have better talents than others."

Laruie smiled. "No, but I could learn. I have to take car of two kids for a week or two, first, though."

Steve shrugged, “It can be though. Like people get awards and stuff for it. And it’s hard to be good at it isn’t it?” He took the last drink in his glass of water and set the glass on a table next to him, “I wouldn’t say that though… Well I guess if your talent is balancing books on your head or something… that would be lame…”

Sam nodded, “Alright. Believe it or not I could help you too if you needed the help with that. And I could teach you. It’s a lot to learn but mostly, Do you know how to shoot a gun? Because if you don’t, it’s gonna be kinda hard.”

Peter nodded. "yeah, it is tough, but not impossible." He then chuckled quietly. "unless your job is to be a cliche princess in a movie or something, balancing books would be pretty stupid."

Steve laughed, “Yeah that would be pretty stupid. But whatever you say. Claudia tried to teach me and so did a bunch of other people tried but no luck. I just can’t act to save my soul. Ironically, I am actually the worst liar in the world.”

Sam smirked. He liked Laurie. “Good that just takes that off of the list of all the things you’ve got to learn because it’s not just Vamps and Demons that are out there. There is so much more.”

Peter laughed again, feeling a tad better. Steve was getting his mind off of what was bothering him. "really? You're a bad liar? You'd think that you'd know how to at least a little bit."

Steve smiled, noticing that something was bothering Peter too but he didn’t feel like bringing it up. He could use some joking around, “Yeah you would think. But no I’m not. It got to a point where if some of my friends were planning some big prank or something they wouldn’t tell me because I’d blow it.”

Peter smiled at that. "well, it's good to know that you'd never be able to lie." he took another drink. Peter was alright at lying, but didn't make a habit of it. He only did when completely necessary.

Steve laughed, “Yeah I guess it is.” He said as he stood up to get another beer from Peter’s kitchen. As he was coming back he cracked it open and took a drink, “Okay maybe I lied just a tad… I can lie if I’m undercover for a job… That’s just about it. Anything else I’m just terrible at.”

"at least you can do it for your job. Going undercover would be a bit tough without lying, wouldn't it?" Peter asked, believing it would, but not knowing for sure since he had never done it.

Steve nodded, “Yeah it would be. It’s not an easy task. You can’t really tell anyone… I really don’t do undercover work anymore though. It was really stressful and I thought I was going to get shot every two seconds.” he said, thinking about the time he had to act like he quit from the station and was going darkside. All of his friends hated him because he wasn't aloud to tell them.

Sam smiled, not used to having someone look up to him, “A lot. What all’s out there, the habits of the hunt, how to gank the thing. Stuff like that. After you take care of the kids, I have a place in Kansas that is stock piled full of information that will help.”

Sam nodded, “Yeah it happens to be that the place with all the information is also a place to stay. It wards you against everything. It’s impossible to find unless you have the key.” He dug it out of his pocket and showed it to her quick, “Which I have.”

Sam let Laurie touch it and then shoved it back into his pocket, “It’s amazing. My brother and I found it when we found out that we were part of a lineage of people called ‘The Man of Letters.’ They were like hunters but they were smarter and knew more things and that’s all in The Bunker.”
