.:. MY IDEA .:.

Is anyone up for a pirate role play? I have an idea and you don't need to speak like a pirate! This will be a romance and I will be playing the female. This is a male-female romance. I don't mind being graphic with anything. I want this to have 4 or more sentences per reply, I want this to be semi-literate or literate. This can be done over private message or thread. The starting plot and vague over view of what I want to happen in the role play. This will have romance with other themes like violence, action, drama, as well as romance. So would anyone be interested in being the male pirate? I already have a starting post written up.

.:. PLOT .:.

I was maybe thinking salon girl that he claims as his and maybe there visits turn into actual love. Be finally decides to take her with him. Her be a saloon girl that his claims as his so no one else really messes with her unless they are new around. Which that would ad drama if some guys are messing with her when he comes back. But I figure he could be falling for her but he doesn't want to admit it. I don't mind violence or graphic sex. But yes on the sex and yes on him beating on them for messing with "his girl" and then once he takes her with him, a few crew members mess with her? And he is below deck? But pretty much finds she locked herself in his quarters once she got away from them? So sje explains to him why she locked herself in? Then she tells him everything that's happened to her since he's left this most recent time. So he goes and beat the shit out of everyone who hurt his girl? And we can start with hm... him walking into the saloon and sitting down? Just got back from a short trip? Then he sees some guys giving her trouble? Maybe he's been trying to convince her to leave with him for a while now since he always isn't thete to protect her? he'll be there for a while so he convinced het to go home with him to get away from the trouble?

.:. MY CHARACTER .:.

Sounds great, but I can't really do the semi-literate or literate thing. I hope someone joins

"Me? I'm dishonest, and a dishonest man you can always trust to be dishonest. Honestly. It's the honest ones you want to watch out for, because you can never predict when they're going to do something incredibly... stupid."- Jack Sparrow, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl

"There will come a time when you have a chance to do the right thing. I love those moments. I like to wave at them as they pass by."- Elizabeth Swann and Jack Sparrow, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest

"Curious. Your friends appear to be quite desperate, Jack. Perhaps they no longer believe that a gathering of squabbling pirates can defeat the Flying Dutchman. And so despair leads to betrayal. And you and I are no strangers to betrayal, are we, Jack? [Jack, who has been looking through various containers, stops and glances at a P mark on his arm] [turning to face Jack] It's not here, Jack. What? What isn't? The Heart of Davy Jones is safely aboard the Dutchman, and so unavailable for use as leverage to satisfy your debt to the good Captain. By my reckoning, that debt has been settled. By your death... yet here you are. Close your eyes and pretend it's all a bad dream. That's how I get by."- Lord Cutler Beckett and Jack Sparrow, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End

"Clergyman, on the off chance that this does not go well for me, I would like you to note it-hearing now-that I am fully prepared to believe in whatever I must, and be welcomed into that place where all the "goody-goodies" want to go once they pop their clogs. Savvy? We have a word for that, Jack. You can convert. I was thinking more of an as-needed basis."- Jack Sparrow and Philip Swift, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides

His name is Dimitri Belikov. He was born and raised in Russia, but a few years ago he became a pirate to support his family; his mother, 3 sisters, grandmother, niece and nephew. He stands at 6'7, and is really muscular.

He looks like this:

My name is Katie. I'm only twenty-one years old and I'm taken for good. I'm also saloon girl, I dance for a living though I have been claimed by a pirate captain. And if I were you I wouldn't dare crossing him by putting a hand on me, and I'll warn you not to touch me unless you want some trouble. But if you don't want to listen to me you'll have more trouble than you know what to do with. Because of him...I don't have to worry about dancing for anyone else, he takes good care of me. Though I will admit that I enjoy him defending me. I might look innocent and helpless, but I am far from innocent and helpless.

He is all the help I need. I've seen what he does to the men who mess with me, especially the ones who know I'm his girl and his only girl. I'm a very out going and trustworthy woman. I'm sweet and trusting, though I do have a cold side to me. I will admit to being a trouble maker as well as a lover, even though I'm caring. I'm also loyal. I lost both my parents at a young age, I really don't remember them much. My uncle owns the saloon, though he is an alcoholic, no one really questions him and he does keep the other girls as well as myself safe with the gun he has hidden behind the counter.

He isn't the best man to live with. My aunt, his wife, passed away very suddenly. There are rumors saying she killed herself while others say my uncle killed her. I'm not sure which to believe, but I never ask. The jewelry I wear are my mothers. I wear them for a reason, my own reason. I lost my parents when I was very young...around two years old. Dimitri made living with my uncle a lot easier, just because now if my uncle messed with me, someone would be defending me. Since no one was allowed to lay a hand on me, I usually just sat around or handed out drinks when Dimitri wasn't in town.

Tonight was one of those nights, though Dimitri should be back sometime in the next few days. A new ship had come in with new men that weren't from around here. And they had been causing trouble around town for days now. I sighed softly and cursed under my breath, I was getting annoyed as someone grabbed my ass again. Though the last time I snapped at one of them my uncle snapped at me. This was getting old and quickly at that. I glared at the man who grabbed me a moment before setting the drinks on the table. I was about done with everything going on since that new ship had come in.

I walked back to where my uncle was behind the bar and sat away from him, in a corner where I was hoping to be alone. But my wishes were quickly dimmed as a man wandered over to me. I paid him no attention, but he didn't take that as a no when he grabbed me and yanked me up. What the hell is wrong with men when they drink? They come into the saloon and think they can abuse the girls that are trying to make a living? God if only Dimitri were here, he would have this taken care of quickly! “Let me go!” I muttered, trying to pull away as the man tightened his grip on my wrist.

Dimitri made it possible for me to not have to dance or go around with the other men to make a living. He helped me with money when he got a rad on a ship at sea. He was always taking care of me. I mean, we had our own house together, he took care of me, defended me. He refused to let my uncle lay a hand on me when he was around.

Dimitri had just gotten back from a unusually profitable venture to sea. He walked down the gangplank and onto the dock. He half smiled, glad to be back. Being here ment he could be with Katie. Dimitri always worried about her while away. He wondered how she had been treated while he had been away. Dimitri wished he wouldn't have to leave her, but he had to.

Quickly rushing to the saloon where katie worked, dimtiri barely heard one of his crew members talking to him about how successful they had been on this voyage. Dimitri left him without a word, being very uncharacteristic. He was kind to his crew and treated them with respect unless they didn't deserve it.

Pushing open the doors of the saloon, dimitri's chocolate brown eyes scanned the room for Katie. What he saw was what he feared. He made his way over to Katie and the man silently. He stood behind the man, his frame towering over the other man. Dimitri stood at six foot seven inches, and he was all muscle. He was definitely a force to be reckoned with.

"I suggest that you remove your hand from her if you value your life" he growled, his Russian accent coming out a little thicker than normal from anger.
