Joey frowned and listened intently. "Well my friend Eden, he's gonna be Alpha soon. I'm sure he could speak on your behalf. Now that I know you're my mate, I really don't wanna let you outta my sight." He blushed as he said it out loud. He looked away for a bit, then back to her. "Soo..er...what's your pack like?"

Eden smiled, and giggled again, his laughs sounding sweet and harmonic. "I'll try not to." He smiled again, holding a hand out, and closed his eyes, concentrating on the familiar spark. He felt a slight nudge in the dark, and pulled the nudge to his hand. He smiled when his hand illuminated in flames. Sfaring at it, he willed it down to a bareable inner warmth in his hand. Taking a deep breath, he placed his hands on Onyxs frozen arm, and slowly warmed the arm back to normal. Finally, after all the ice was gone, he willed the warmth away, his eyes gazing into Onyxs, entranced by how dangerously sexy he was, and how the mate pull was affecting him, although not as strong as it affected Onyx at the moment. 

Shiloh sharply looked up at him. "I'm wha-what?" She stopped walking, withdrawing her arm from his, hands flying up to the sides of her head. "Is that why that weird thing happened when I saw you? And I kept smelling something really good and it's extremely unbearable next to you?" Her eyes narrowed in on him. "You're my mate." She gave a little laugh. "You're my mate!" Honestly she couldn't believe it. Everything made sense now as to why all these weird things happened in the house. She covered her face now in embarrassment at her sudden outburst. Oh Lord, how would Skyler react? It's best to not tell him for awhile.

Onyx was filled with so much emotions for this boy in front of him that he might burst. Was this what Elsa was trying to explain to him the other day? "You won't even be able to stand it," she had said. Well she was damn right. But him? He was the complete and utter opposite of him. He watched intensely as he thawed his arm. Once done, he shook it then transitioned from balling up his fist and spreading his fingers out, the muscles in his arm flexing as he did so. "Thanks." He looked back up at the boy, a small smile growing on his face. But he quickly wiped it away as not to begin falling for him. "So you control the elements?" He changed the subject, trying to get his mind off of things.

Skyler shrugged. "Can't complain. How've you been? Feels like I haven't seen you in awhile." He took a gulp from his cup, wetting his lips after he did so. Someone behind him was trying to get through in the smallest space possible. They kept pushing on him, urging him to move, in which the only way he could was to move forward. Mentally giving up on trying to ignore them, he took two large steps forward, putting his free hand on Bexx's lower back, catching her if she leant back. The annoyingly persistent person slid throught the space offered by Sky's moving and was gone in a second. He looked down at her after seeing the person was gone, smiled, then stepped back to his previous spot, letting go of her. "Sorry. Just- this guy wanted to get through."

       Bexx parted her lips to answer, when suddenly he was closer to her than before. She kept her eyes on his chest until he moved back, her cheeks tinged with pink. "I've been busy lately. Trying to help younger pack members get through the flu and nasty coughs." She said, trying to ignore the warm feeling in her lower back where his hand had been previously. She took a small sip of her drink, hoping to disguise the fading blush. Putting her free hand in her pocket, she smiled up at him. "I like my position in the pack, it's nice to help." She added thoughtfully. 

Joey watched as she removed her arm from his. He frowned, and sighed hoping he didn't do anything wrong to push her away. He stopped, when she stopped, and watched her. Sighing, and running a hand through his  hair, "Yea, that's why we felt the strong pull between each other and the strong smell, is for mates t find each other in dangerous situations. Also helps our wolves recognize one another."

Eden smiled and blushed again, when he pulled his hand away. He couldn't help but feel a strange connection to Onyx. He found himself getting lost in his eyes and face again. He was too gorgeous for his own good. Quickly snapping out of if, he nodded, "Yea. I can manipulate all the elements. It helps me, when I'm in danger. I mean although, my mate will most likely be a stronger male than I am, atleast I have my connection with the elements to protect me." He let out a breath, smiling as it fluffed up his hair a bit, making him look more adorable. "What's your gift?"

Shiloh covered her mouth as she giggled a bit. But silenced herself a moment later. "Now it makes sense." She slid her arm back into his. "Hopefully my mother will approve of you," she said quietly, beginning to walk along with him again. The bonfire on the hill grew closer and closer and the sounds of deep laughter filled the nighttime air. 

Lillian, her young sister, saw her and ran down the hill to meet her. She saw Joey and grew quiet and shy, grabbing her sister's hand while keeping a careful eye on the mysterious boy. "Hi Lilli," Shiloh greeted, tightening her hand around her tiny one. She turned to look at Joey, giving a sweet smile. "Joey, this is one of my sisters Lillian. Lillian, this is Joey. Can you say hi?" She mumbled the last part to the little girl who was hiding partly behind her. Lillian said a quiet "Hello" then giggled, burying her face in Shiloh's arm.

Onyx had a sly smile on his face. He suddenly disappeared in dark, misty wisps and reappeared again next to Eden on the countertop. "Sort of this," he replied with a light shrug, looking over at the boy next to him. "Not as useful as yours, but being able to appear and reappear again has its perks." He twisted his torso around to grab a couple chips then came back. He ate one and offered the other to Eden. "Chip?"

Skyler smiled. "You are a good healer," he commented. "Everyone loves you." He ran a hand through his hair. "It's a shame I don't get sick often." Sky never really caught colds or flus. It was odd, but his father was like that too. Maybe he'd make up some symptoms one day to have an excuse to see her. "Who drug you here anyway?" he asked randomly.

Joey smiled and ran a hand through his curls, triying to take some of the confusion away. When she smiled, and slid her arm back into his, he breathed a sigh of relief. "Yea, it happens when a wolf turns 18." Smiling as they continued talking, he glanced over, as he watched a small child run down the hill to meet Shi. Standing by her and watching the exchange between the two, he smiled. When Shi introduced the little girl, he knelt down and smiled, "Hello Lili, aren't you just adorable. Just like your sister. Nice to meet you."

Eden glanced at him curiously, when all of sudden the sexy, and brooding Onyx dissappeared from his sights. "What the.." he was cut off, as he plopped right beside him on the counter, appearing out of thin air. He let out a high pitched girly scream, quickly covering his mouth, as the boy reached back and grabbed a chip. He looked towards the spot, where he was just standing at, and to the spot, where Onyx now sat beside him. "Wow! That' was really cool. Are you kidding, that is awesome. I wish I could just teleport wherever I wanted, and sure." He smiled, reaching over and taking the chip from him. Plopping it in his mouth, he bit down into it, smiling as it crunched in his mouth. He moaned with pleasure, from how good the chip tasted. He hadn't eaten since last night. "So any family?"

    Bexx smiled,  hoping he couldn't see the blush that the compliments has caused. She reprimanded herself mentally for letting something so small make her blush, but she couldn't help it. It was normal, she told herself, she would do it when any other boy complimented. But she knew she wouldn't, it was only Skyler. 

      Hearing his question, she dragged herself out of her thoughts. "Her name is Piper, she's a human. A senior in sigh school." She explained, sounding like she was on the edge of babbling. She looked down at her cup, her bangs falling partially into her eyes.
